If you wish to grow your social media presence, Instagram reels are one of the best ways to draw in new traffic and convert that traffic into patients. But if you’re not using them correctly, Instagram reels can end up driving more potential patients away than they bring in, which means your ROI might be less than you expect it to be. Here are three ways to master Instagram reels and drive more traffic to your website.

  • Keep it short and sweet. Instagram users have a short attention span, so make sure your reel is under 30 seconds.
  • Use hashtags. Hashtags are a great way to get your reel in front of more people. Use relevant, popular hashtags to reach new audiences.
  • Drive traffic to your website. Include a call-to-action at the end of your reel directing viewers to your dental website. This is a great way to increase traffic and get more leads.

1.  Add close ups
If you’re looking for ways to master Instagram Reels and drive more traffic to your dental website, close ups are a great place to start. With almost all video posts now automatically shared in the Reels, close ups help you grab attention and give your audience a closer look at what you’re sharing. Plus, they’re perfect for showing off products or services in more detail. Here are three tips for using close ups in your Reels – Include clear text: The first step is to make sure that you include clear text on top of your image so that people know what it is. Just like with any other post, be sure to include a caption with hashtags and links that will bring viewers back to your website or landing page where they can learn more about what you have to offer. Finally, don’t forget to add filters! There are plenty of free filters available on both Android and iPhone that’ll instantly change the look and feel of your images. And don’t forget to go live. Whether you use Facebook Live or Instagram Live (or both!),
broadcasting yourself live means giving viewers an up-close view into your world which creates instant connection with your followers.

2. Use hashtags
Hashtags are a great way to get your content seen by more people. But with the new changes to Instagram, you need to be strategic about which ones you use. Here are three tips for using hashtags to drive more traffic to your website 1) Use different hashtags on each post so that you can target different audiences without mixing them up. 2) Include keywords in your caption so that they show up when people search for those keywords. 3) Link back to your website in the caption or at the end of your video so viewers know where to find more information on that topic. When readers click through to your site, it is much easier for them to potentially book a consultation from you because they already have some context about what you’re offering.

3. New Instagram reel tools
There are also a variety of new remix layouts, including green screen, horizontal or vertical split-screen, or a picture-in-picture. Using the latter, creatives can add their own video commentary to reels. There will be a remix option to show the original reel and then your remix sequentially, rather than side by side.

Instagram is also expanding its Reels templates, allowing users to take the format of popular Reels and use it for their videos. The dual camera mode lets you simultaneously film your reaction and a scene with your phone’s front and back cameras.
