Sunita's tax strategy didn’t seem to have evolved along with her changing personal objectives.

Sunita had a profitable implant practice in the city generating approximately £400k p.a. She had a specialist accountant since she acquired the practice and her revenue had grown considerably since acquisition but her tax strategy didn’t seem to have evolved along with her changing personal objectives and the success of the practice; indeed Sunita felt as though she was only allowed to take out what the accountant ratified. Sunita and her husband were living off £100k p.a. which was scaring her a little as she wanted their two children to go to private school shortly.

After a consultation with Hive’s tax experts, Sunita and her husband were given an easy-to-understand picture of their strategic options. Primarily Sunita felt relieved that the funds were, in fact, accessible to her and Hive were able to build a bespoke plan for her to meet her objectives, including paying for the school fees.

Hive also identified an opportunity for a retrospective tax claim worth £50k.
