Do you have a sales manager yet?
Our new TCO course covers the expectations of the role, how to get involved in the practice’s marketing, techniques for selling and tracking successfully.
February 21, 2022

Back in March 2019, we were wrapping up on the final day of our Business Manager Training Course. We didn’t know that would be the last face-to-face training session we would run for the next three years. During the peak of the pandemic, Hive Business carried their clients through some of the toughest years of business trading. Like many we also lost out on some exciting events we had planned, new products we’d planned to launch and in particular more face to face courses.

A positive that I can take from the past few years is how innovative the team were and the new products, services and style of support we could provide evolved for the better. We launched our online learning platform to run alongside our consultancy programme’s which was great to help internal efficiency but also added value to our client’s learning experience throughout the programme.

We’ve got some exciting projects lined up for 2022, the first being the launch of our newest course: The Treatment Co-Ordinator (TCO) online course. Here is some information about our new online course which we previously ran as a face to face, two day workshop; in partnership with Fine Company:

WHO IS IT FOR?
This course has been designed for all TCO’s, whether they’ve just started in the role or those who are looking for ways to develop a long standing role.

Equally, if you’re a practice owner and wanting to learn more about how a TCO could enhance your practice you would find value in this course. Then you could have it ready and waiting for them to complete when you hire your new recruit!

WHAT IS THE COURSE ABOUT?
We cover the expectations of the role, how to get involved in the practice’s marketing, techniques for selling and tracking successfully.

We’ve ensured we use real life examples meaning practical skills can be implemented straight away. There are activities, reflections, videos and simple templates available to aid implementation of the concepts.

IS IT CPD ACCREDITED?
You can be assured that all of our online learning is accredited by the CPD Standards office. We make sure the content is educational and easily applied to real life situations. We also have a support function so if you have any questions, we are available to help. This course gives you 6 hours CPD.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST AND WHAT IS INCLUDED?
The course is £695. With this, you’ll get up to three users who can each take the course and get the 6 hours CPD certification. We recommend that the Principal, TCO and Business Manager all complete the course to gain an understanding of the role and the processes in the practice. Once completed, we’ll send you a curated workshop to help you set the next steps and understand the observations and recommendations you’ve all made. This will help you implement the learnings and also aid accountability in the team.
