As dental practices get back up and running and opening up to patients again here at Hive, the Marketing team are seeing some good results from digital marketing investments.
We were prepared to see a big influx of patients needing emergency treatments and patients returning to finish off treatments that started before Covid-19 closed everything down.
This is evident, but what perhaps most practice owners weren’t expecting was the high demand for high value treatments like dental implants and Invisalign.
Post Covid-19 lockdown Google AdWords (PPC) budgets have been really stretched with the high demand for these treatments and ROI is exceeding campaign performance in the months prior to lockdown.
We have seen conversion rates increase with many practices offering video consultations, meaning new patients can have their initial consultation with the Treatment Coordinator, safe and sound from the comfort of their own home. The feedback from clients on the outcomes of video consultations is very good and we understand there is a high propensity for attendees to convert to a clinical assessment in the practice.
Some of the increase in demand for orthodontic treatment may be due to people now working from home, out of the office environment and deciding to get their teeth straightened. We’re also seeing demand from couples who have postponed weddings and now have time and funds available to straighten their teeth prior to their big day. Others have been lucky enough to save some cash whilst in lockdown.
